IDAA Insync Client certificate authentication support

We use a functional ID for IDAA replication - integrated synchronization. We need a compliant method for the functional ID authentication that is manageable. Currently, for IDAA replication in-sync process, We are using a functional ID with fixed non-expiring password. This is not compliant. We use a tool called CyberArk to manage user IDs. The tool requires password to be changed in a certain interval. To use RACF passticket, the functional ID must be defined with a password first. Otherwise, it becomes a protected ID. RACF Passticket support for RACF Protected ID's without a password is being depricated.

It is an an administrative effort to schedule password change and we will have to change before expiry. ID gets into kind of "revoke" state after expiry and likely operation fails from this point onwards. It will need a reset/enable to get it alive again. It will be nice if this whole password change is seamless and transparent and probably that's why Cyberark is for.
