Integrity Validation of SW and Updates

In order to complain with the Security Framework Controls of a product which uses Db2 connect SW the following requirement should be fullfilled: "Before applying the software and security updates, their legitimate source should be validated and integrity checks (for example checksum validation) should be performed when technically possible". In case TS005582365 I ask for the Db2 Fixpacks Sw Checksum values. In case I was told that at the moment IBM doesn't publish the values for Db2 fixpacks.     Looking at wide spread best practice for delivering software downloads with proof of integrity, this feature is simply mandatory, and even if the current status quo might be explainable, it is certainly not rationally sustainable.

    In fact this feature ist needed for the integrity and authenticiy check of any software download (not only DB2) before installation, to achieve compliance for example within the SWIFT Customer Security Control framework or the compendium of the German Federal Office for Information Security. I believe any german customer and especially banks using IBM software need this feature.
