Support Spanned Record Format in Reorg Discard Dataset

We would like Discard Lob's from a Table and Load them into a Partner Table.

The Discard Dataset can not exceed 32K, so it is not possible. With Unload Utility it is possible to

define Spanned Yes for SYSREC. It would be helpful if you could support this.

    Thank you for submitting this Db2 Utilities Suite for z/OS enhancement request. We have reviewed this request and believe it is a good candidate for the Db2 Utilities Suite for z/OS product. However, it does not align within functionality prioritized for delivery within a reasonable timeframe. Therefore, unfortunately, we will not be considering this idea at this time.

    This idea will remain in our product backlog and may be revisited as we continue to plan for later features and functions.

    Comment from the development team:

    While the suggested enhancement makes logical sense and would remove a significant limitation on the REORG DISCARD functionality, this is dispositioned as not under consideration simply because development team cannot contain this effort ahead of other planned enhancements within a reasonable amount of time. We will revisit this enhancement down the road if/when further votes are received.
