I’m going to add a column to two tables that are “connected” through versioning (STT).
This is what I (or the tool) should do:
ALTER TABLE MY.BASETAB ADD NEW_COLUMN DECIMAL(5, 3) NOT NULL;
REORG TABLESPACE MYDB.BASETS
REORG TABLESPACE MYDB.HISTTS
The tool only generates
ALTER TABLE MY.BASETAB ADD NEW_COLUMN DECIMAL(5, 3) NOT NULL;
REORG TABLESPACE MYDB.BASETS
This is how SYSIBM.SYSTABLES looks like before I start.
CREATOR TABLE TYPE V_SCHEMA V_TABLE
---------+---------+---------+---------+---------+
MY BASETAB T MY HISTTAB
MY HISTTAB H MY BASETAB
And this is what’s happens. (starts before compare)
