OMPE batch reporting does not produce msgs that allow to identify missing IFCIDs for certain reports (in this case, there are just msgs that not enough virtual storage is available - FPEU0020E UNABLE TO ALLOCATE VIRTUAL STORAGE. FPEU0100S DGOABLOG, CODE=3 and the program abends).

In this specific case only IFCID 239 (package info) is available. However to produce a DB2 accounting batch report OMPE needs IFCID 3 (plan info) records as well.

When the input file is large DB2 will get into storage problems, or sort abends, but there is NO message indicating the IFCID 3 info is missing.
A msg like FPEA4531I GENERAL ACCOUNTING DATA FOR LUWID INSTANCE X'zzzzzzzz' IS MISSING. IFCID 3 IS MISSING would have helped a great deal.

Apparently OMPE has to be able to process the entire input file in order to be able to produce any msgs about missing data.
Having these msgs all the time would help a great deal to quickly determine why a report is not being produced (or at least have OMPE produce the list of IFCIDs in the JOBSUMMDD even when the job abends would help).

The above is just an example for accounting reports - the same applies to other types of reports.
