Post an idea
Upvote ideas that matter most to you
Get feedback from the IBM team to refine your idea
Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests
The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The product management team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notification on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.
We have 4 Datasharing groups and each DSG has 2 accelerators. We have developed ISPF tools to create a standard (native) load job and our users have become accustomed to navigating these ISPF panels. Now that we are introducing IDAA Loader we would like to incorporate the IDAA Loader panels into the existing system of panels. The DSG selection panels precede the current load selection panels. So we would prefer to do the same with the IDAA Loader panels. However, once the user selects the DSG (via our custom panels) and we present the IDAA Loader panels, they will need to select the DSG again in these panels. If they make the wrong selection, or forget to make the right one, they could be loading TEST when they mean to load PRODUCTION or the reverse of this. Therefore I would like to provide the Datasharing Group name to the panels and that DSG should be used as the DB2 SSID in the HLOLPRIM panel. If possible to include SERVER ID as passed data, that would be nice.
