Timeout retry logic for ADBTEP2 when driven with CM BATCH

as outcome from an AOC workshop : customer experiences sometimes timeouts when running CM BATCH driven ADBTEP2 worklist executions. These timeouts make the WSL execution fail and leaves the change process unfinished. It takes time to identify and resolve the issue. A formal RESTART process does not exist in the self-service portal and restart requires manual intervention or additional workaround activities. In order to avoid a restart of the WSL in timeout situations the customer prefers to have an option for ADBTEP2 so that when WSL execution encounters a timeout of any form that a certain number of retries is attempted until the WSL fails.

Such an option will relieve DBAs and end users of problem analysis and mitigation activities. And it will shorten the unavailability time of the objects affected by that change. Many users can be impacted by such a disruption and often the application outage has high visability within management.
