We have many similiar Db2 Subsystems and often have the Need to create e.g. UNDO records if a Job has run with a false control Statement or other mistakes and therefore inserts, changes oder deletes the false records.

Now you have to go thought the Panels and generate the Job for the "DB2 LOG ANALYSIS TOOL". Some of the Parameters are within the JCL some are in the MODE35 MODEFILE or even somewhere else.

This is a very time consuming and annoying Task.

What we expect is to generate this Job once. All controll Parameters are written to the jcl. Then we could use this job as a skelleton. For alle other Subsystems, we just have to Change some Parameters, e.g. SSID, time, Jobname etc.

If this solution is implented we even could add or delete some control parameters as needed. We would be able to prepare some sort of Jobs in advance, so that collegues who are not experts in this tool could use them.

A competetive tool has implemented that feature.
