Eliminate display limit when exploding application profiles

We recently had a need to use the Recovery Expert to recover all objects (tablespaces and indexes) in a database with a large number of objects in it. There are about 540 tables and just over 1000 indexes in the database. I created an application profile in Recovery Expert ISPF interface with a line item that was a wildcard that included all tablespaces in this database. I then wanted to make sure that I created the line item correctly, so I used the 'X' line option to explode the profile to see all objects. However, an ISPF dialog popped up stating that the default limit of 500 was insufficient to display all objects. It also indicated that the limit could be manually overridden to a max of 999. So, I entered 999 and was able to view all of the tablespaces in the database. However, I don't consider this database to be excessively large in terms of the number of objects, and I'm sure that there are plenty of other customer databases that are much larger in this regard. It also wasn't clear to me if this was just a display limit, or if it also limited the actual number of objects that could be recovered at one time.

According to the response that I received in the referenced Support Case: "This is a visual restriction only. This limitation is quite old and probably comes from the limitations of TSO REGION SIZE parameter."

My suggestion is to eliminate this limit completely since it is just for display purposes, so that the user can see all of the objects covered by an application profile. If you wish you could display a warning message if the number of objects to be displayed is over a certain limit, but then give the user the choice to display the full list or not.
