consistent jcl member names via online and Batch facility
There are 2 options to generate JCL for a recovery plan for an application profile: online interface and via batch. The JCL naming convention for both the options are different. Online interface generated JCL members say 20 jobs are all generated with a sequential number and any parallel groups are indicated on the ISPF panels. I will try and attach screen shots. Once we go to the JCL library it is not possible to understand the parallel groups from the job names. Batch JCL generation on the other hand creates jcl member names which makes makes the parallel groups clear. It will be nice to have both the options generate JCL member names in a similar fashion.
