Table-level error handling for batch load operations for IBM Data Gate for watsonx

Today, when executing batch load operations across multiple tables, if a single table encounters an error or limitation, IBM Data Gate for watsonx fails the entire batch silently, without generating errors or events.

This results in:

  • No tables being synchronized.
  • Lack of visibility into the failing table.
  • Increased troubleshooting effort.

This RFE proposes implementing table-level error handling during batch loads:

  • Tables with errors should be reported in the Event tab as ERROR.
  • Tables without errors should continue replication normally.
