Option to force apply an update which is failing due to a before image mis-match

Would be very useful to have the ability to chose to force apply an update if a file is out-of-sync from the source. We are using adaptive apply and have experienced CECW0025I messsages (for example) because the before image of a record does not match. This file is then out of sync and the process to get it back in sync is neither straight-forward or quick. Replication is still running for the 100s of other files in the subscription and it would be preferale not to have to stop replication of the subscription to recover the situation.
