CDC capture enhancement for "catch up" mode.

We are a 24x7 IMSPlex site including workload balancing across lpars. We have introduced CDC for IMS, replicating data from critical 24x7 business applications. Presently we do not take any outage for these business applications.

In order to better handle scenarios where CDC subscriptions fall behind live changes (which regularly occurs during batch windows, we would like CDC for IMS to support ingesting a subset of the IMS logs. This subset would only contain the required logs for CDC (similar to the Change Accum functionality) which CDC would read rather than the OLDS/SLDS, which contain lots of irrelevant data. This would improve our time to recover from falling behind real-time replication by reducing the read time required to go through the complete set of IMS logs. We understand this is not a small request, however it is a necessary function for CDC to be strategic to our business.
