Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests
The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The product management team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notification on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.
Improvement Refresh performance of multi-view definition segment
Ongoing project is planning to do initial DB construction using the Refresh function of CCDC to CDC. There are many View definitions in the CCDC, the logical table becomes over 800, and we want to improve the overall throughput . Specifically, we'd like to reduce the currently estimated time to one third. As a feature of customer definition, there are multiple VIEW definitions in one segment. At most, there is a segment with 21 VIEW and 21 target table. In this case, it is necessary to refresh 21 times, so that the same IMS DB segment is accessed 21 times, and the processing time is also required for that number of times. We want this to be able to Refresh on 21 target tables at the same time by accessing IMS segment only once.
