The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The product management team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.
Improve parallel processing performance of Refresh
Ongoing project is planning to do initial DB construction using the Refresh function of CCDC to CDC. There are many View definitions in the CCDC, the logical table becomes over 800, and we want to improve the overall throughput . Specifically, we'd like to reduce the currently estimated time to one third. We are considering realization by dividing Subscription into two or more and refreshing at the same time, but the performance of parallel processing does not come out as expected. In the actual measurement there were two subscriptions to refresh from different IMS DBs, requiring 7 minutes and 6 minutes. Even if it was executed at the same time it took 12 minutes without completing in about 7 minutes. It is only about 10% shortening when executed serially. Therefore, even if Refresh is executed in parallel, we want to have the same throughput as running independently.
