Classic CDC for IMS - Enhanced Z/OS monitoring ability

When conducting CDC for IMS Publishing to MQ we are able to start an online trace in the Classic Data Architecht tool which provides ud with multiple information among others the ability to see if the CDC for IMS Capture task is keeping up pace with the IMS logs currently being written. This enables us to identify gaps and determine if a backlog is being built up. We need this and other monitor information in order to set up proper surveilance of the CDC for IMS task running on Z/OS and we need the information to be delivered directly on Z/OS so we can use it for setting up alerts to the Z/OS surveilance system. It is not acceptable to deploy the replication product in production and built business critical logic on the replicated data if we can't monitor when gaps/backlogs etc.occur and raise alerts and act in due time before major incidents are present.So please develop a routine/service or Command which can be used on Z/OS for fetching the same information as is currently sent to the Classic Data Architecht.
