Job Management Functionality

The job management and scheduling component in the DB2 Data Management Console does not have the same functionality as it had in the Data Server Manager.

A person can't edit a job that someone else created which makes it very difficult for a team to work with jobs. You can do this in the DSM.

You need to be able to get email notifications for successful job executions and not just when a job fails or has an error. The DSM has Always, If Failed, If Succeeded and If Succeeded with warnings.

You need to be able to chain jobs together so a job can start another job on success or failure. The DSM has this ability.

Hi Scott, thanks for submitting your idea! We will address the gaps you identified in the upcoming releases of DMC.

In 3.1.5.1 fix pack, which is planned to be released this month, we'll add an option to select multiple conditions to send out an email notification. We'll support the cases you identified above.

We plan to address the other two gaps in Q4 2021.
