DVM Query Optimization Utility tool

The SQL Select statement used to define a virtual table or virtual view can be a complex one with multiple levels of JOIN operators, predicates and SQL special functions nested together. It will be handy for developers to have a utility tool that can assist in optimizing the performance of a query written for DVM.

No SQL tuning information is currently provided by DVM to developers. Experienced developers with advanced SQL development skills are required to optimize the performance of DVM through query tuning.

Thank you Shanika. We'll take this forward for review and exploration. We'll come back with a view on this in the September time frame. Nothing is planned or committed at this time.
