Hi Cindi, I don't understand why the description is not displayed. When I try to edit the idea, it is visible there.

In Cognos Analytics as of now, when filters are added to All tabs/This tab filter, they are applied for all visualizations. Quite often it will be useful to allow to exclude/avoid applying the top filters in individual visualization (the only workaround now is to apply that filter individually to every other visualization instead; hard to manage if the filter changes). The same valid to exclude using All tabs filter for one tab only.
We need more information as to the requirement you are asking to be solutioned. Can you provide this?
