Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests
The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The product management team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notification on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.
Gateway Server should be able to process batches concurrently.
The best TPS we got in gateway server was 150. Our largest file from a customer has around 600k transactions. With the current throughput from Gateway server it woulld take around 1 hour and 7 minutes to ingest those payments. As a result, we would miss our SLA. We also have Payment Canada's rule wherein we have to post the money to customer's account within 2 hours on receipt of the payment.
When a large file is ingested in FTM base with multiple batches/fragments, it processess them sequentially. This results in performance issue.
We would like the CPS product to be enhanced so that Gateway server could process batches concurrently, just like Distribution engine does today.
