A utility to import MX messages into FTM is wanted.

Today it is possible to : Import FIN messages from an input file or data set and create,

for each FIN message, a corresponding IBM Financial Transaction Manager for SWIFT Services message in a target queue.

Then idea/request is to make it possible to import MX messages and have these put on a target queue in a similar way.

Hence we request IBM to develop this functionality.


Motivation:

Today we use the import-FIN messages utility to import large sets/numbers of FIN messages from datasets/files to be used for regression test and for testing with CHAPS.

After the dnqsdf utility has put the messages on the MQ target queue they are processed by a message flow of ours.

In near future we are facing a need to test with large sets of prepared MX messages.

For this reason we are suggesting a utility to import large numbers of MX messages from sequential input datasets/files to a target queue.


When needed :

We would like to have this functionality made available soon as we have a need for importing test MX messages in the coming months (starting March - April).
