FTM to include SWIFTGO Validation

SWIFT Go is a product that is developed by SWIFT, targeted to provide faster, cheaper, more transparent remittance pathway to customers. SWIFT Go has a maximum payment threshold of USD/GBP/EUR 10,000.00. 

With SWIFT continuous effort to promote the product, the subscriber list has reached over 600 banks and it is still growing. Few banks in Malaysia and renounced international bank like Wells Fargo, JP Morgan, Citibank, Bank of New York are all SWIFT Go subscriber. 

Features and Characteristic of SWIFT Go: 
- Message identifier type: 009 
- Payment Transparency: Payment must be credit to customer in full, without any deduction from proceed. All charges along the payment route are made known to the remitter before initiating the transaction. 
- Payment speed: Payment should be credited within 4 working hours, or update the payment status within 4 working hours of receiving the payment. Single Format is used where all SWIFT Go payment will utilize only 1 format to improve payment STP. 
- Lower cost of remittance: SWIFT Go mechanism allows only minimal and fundamental bank charges being charged to the customer.
