We would like the CreDtTM to be filled in with current date/time immediately when the user is first presented with the input screen.
Reason:
MER application as it is now i.e. V324 FP3 won’t validate = ok, unless the field is present with a valid format, and it would be a great help for the user not to have to type this field.
Secondly :
In our case the message must be authorized by a second/third user before it is passed to our back end application for AML, fraud screening, logging etc. After successfully passing these checks on the back end , the back end application will eventually pass the message on to MSIF service to be transmitted into the SWIFT network.
We too need the value in the message going to our back end, just as original proposer does. We could consider having our flow assigning a value to this field at the time of putting it to the MQ-queue from which our back end reads.
However we think the timestamp should prefilled with the time when the user first created the message. To save the user from typing in a value.
It is manual user input and if they feel there has been too much time between creation and send then they should be able to ‘adjust this themselves’.

Hallo Paul,
no Securities MSGs don't have field CreDtTM but pacs and camt in DNIFINPLUS have.
Yes T2 MSGs are also part of this request but they are in DNIMX not in DNIFINPLUS.

Are the Securities messages that are part of FINPLUS the same as the T2 messages in this request? Please list the messages that your are referencing.
