For a POC starting in the next weeks we need Hive connector for IAE: we need to write notebooks accessing IAE in Watson Studio and create dashboards on IAE using Cognos Embedded Dashboard

This is specific for the Hive insides IAE.
The Hive connector in Data Catalog does not work once the connection needs to specify a "key trust store" to handle the SSL handshake. Once the connection in WDP does not support to add JDBC parameters, there is no way to indicate those parameters.
Hi Michael, IAE requires url parameters to be specified, however, the connector only allows you to specify hostname and port.
@chris We already have the Hive connector available in Catalog. Let us know if there's anything else as a part of this requirement.
