This portal is to open public enhancement requests against products and services offered by the IBM Data & AI organization. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).

Correct, it did not make it into that release. However, it is available on Cloud and will be coming to the next updates for Desktop and Cloud Pak for Data.
Unfortunately still not resolved in newly released Watson Studio Desktop 2.0.
@Takahiro Tsuzuku: thank you for the information. It is a good news! By commenting this entry (your idea) I wanted to emphasize the importance of the issue, but fortunately (from what you've written) it has already been taken seriously. Best regards! Michal
I'm IBMer and originator of this idea. I've heard that this idea will be implemented in next release CP4D v3.5. The epic number is CEX-1083 (A user can stop execution of a flow).
Idea Priority: High
Priority Justification:
Actually I wanted to open a case in IBM Support for this issue, since I consider this to be a bug and it was reported to me by a client as a bug, but when I did so I was directed to this place as the more appropriate place, by IBM Support. In my opinion this functionality is 'a must' for the Machine Learning software. I would change the priority of the issue to 'High' if I could. When you run the flow the user is unable to terminate the computations and it is a serious shortcoming, since it is common in Machine Learning that you start with extensive modelling options setup and in case of extremely long training process you terminate the process and narrow the parameters space search. Thus, the lack of "STOP the process" option in Modeler Flows (within Watson Studio Desktop) should be addressed speedily (if only possible).
