Administrator can choose to restrict users from creating new projects

We are considering the explosion of projects in CP4D.

In CP4D 2.5, any user can create data transfer projects and analytics projects, and there is no limitation about creating projects.

Our customers want to manage their projects tightly, because there is also no limitation about usage of resources by project.

(Added on March 9, 2020)

If this feature was not provided, the following adverse effects will occur:

  • Malicious user can create lots of projects.

  • These projects can consume resources (i.e. disk spaces, cpu, and memory)

  • As a result of the above, the CP4D system may slow down or suddenly go down.

  • This issue will cause a monetary injury on CP4D user company.
