In CP4D 2.5, any user can create data transfer projects and analytics projects, and there is no limitation about creating projects.
In addition, there is no way to limit usage of resources per project or user. ("resource" means disk space, memory, cpu core, number of objects, etc)
This might cause CP4D system's slowing down and going down suddenly. It is very critical issue for any system.
We strongly hope that administrators can limit resource usage on a per project or per user basis.
(Added on March 9, 2020)
If this feature was not provided, the following adverse effects will occur:
Users can create lots of objects (i.e. Data Refinery flows, Modeler flows, Notebooks, Data Assets) in their project
These objects can consume resources (i.e. disk spaces, cpu, and memory) in each execution.
Users can also run these objects anytime.
As a result of the above, the CP4D system may slow down or suddenly go down.
This issue will cause a monetary injury on CP4D user company.
