STREAM OPTION IN WATSONX.AI FOUNDATION MODELS

Hello,


In various providers of generative AI solutions (such as OpenAI, Databricks, etc.), we've observed the option to parameterize API responses to be in streaming mode (True or False). Streaming responses enhance the user experience, as it allows them to receive parts of the response sequentially immediately after making a request, rather than waiting for the entire processing to complete, which can be time-consuming for large responses.

We have contacted IBM support and were advised to submit an enhancement request since the option to parameterize streaming responses is not available in the consumption of IBM Watson AI foundation models APIs and is not on the roadmap.

Could you please consider adding this feature? It is crucial for applications being developed using the IBM Watson AI foundation models.
