rsccompdict table shrink

When using compression in informix products, a special rsccompdict table is created to store dictionaries.
This table can be a big one and it is stored at dbspace level.
When you drop some databases, tables, purge dictionaries, this table can be emptied or near to be empty.
But all the space reserved can not be release to the dbspace.
it is possible to defragment the table but nor shrink or repack is allowed.
The only solution to get back the space is to drop the dbspace, but you can not do that because you can always have some other databases.

Could it be possible to enhance shrink and repack to rsccompdict table ?
