Two nodes SDS cluster
Story : Assume 2 nodes in SDS (Node A - Primary / Node B - Secondary)
01. Assume current primary server (Node A) unavailable due to hardware failure.
02. Initiate the manual fail over from SDS SECONDARY(Node B) to SDS PRIMARY > Now Node B is the PRIMARY
onmde -d make primary <Node B Server Name > force
03. Bring Node A up after fixing the hardware problem.
04. Revert back the SDS cluster into original status using onmode command.
onmde -d make primary <Node A Server Name >
05. Now Node B getting shutdown with the message. (After executing above command)
As explained in #5 when shutting down, most applications and users connected to Node B sever.
So it is affecting to the users. We need to switch into Node A without shutting down node B.
I assume this feature already in Oracle rac. Could you please consider this as an priority request and enabled in next release.
Really appreciate quick response.
Thanks
