PN_STAGEBLOB_THRESHOLD - Set to 1Mb when first table containing BYTE or TEXT is partitioned by Round Robin

Currently, the PN_STAGEBLOB_THRESHOLD onconfig parameter is not present in the standard onconfig file, therefore it defaults to zero.

It's absence also means that most DBAs will not be aware of its existence and the potential pain they are in for if an initial fragment of a table , partitioned by ROUND ROBIN and containing BYTE or TEXT datatypes reaches the maximum number of pages for a fragment.

DBAs will usually monitor storage and they would allocate one or more new fragments to this table before it filled completely.

But, when that initial fragment finally does fill, INSERTS and UPDATES to the table will fail with this default setting, even though there is room in subsequent fragments.

This will lead to a service outage.

The only solution at this point is to unload and delete some data from the initial fragment, set PN_STAGEBLOB_THRESHOLD to something reasonable with onmode -wf, eg. 1Mb and then reload the data.
