we would like to raise a feature request for Informix to generate alerts or log messages in the online message log whenever index corruption is detected, as such events are currently not notified or recorded. on Informix secondary servers

In an Informix cluster environment, when the secondary server becomes the primary, any existing corruption on the secondary can be carried over without any notification. This can result in the corruption impacting all DML operations on the new primary, potentially causing downtime until the index corruption is identified and resolved.

Additionally, when index corruption occurs on the secondary server, all read SQL statements are executed through sequential scans instead of reporting or alerting the index corruption. This behavior leads to high memory consumption and negatively impacts overall system performance.

so would like to raise a feature request for Informix to generate alerts or log messages in the online message log whenever index corruption is detected on Informix secondary servers in informix cluster
