Federation for XML data type

Description

Federation queries (select statements) against an Oracle server are failing if the Oracle table has an XMLTYPE column. Even a select count(*) against these tables fails. Tables in the same Oracle server that do NOT have XMLTYPE columns can be selected without issue.

The selects we are using do not use nicknames, but rather the three part naming scheme (federation server name, schema name, table name).

Are XMLTYPE columns supported in Federation? I could not find anything in documentation that talks about XMLTYPE columns?
What about CLOB or BLOB columns?

Here is the db2level.
[bluadmin@node0105-fab: ~]$ db2level
DB21085I This instance or install (instance name, where applicable:
"db2inst1") uses "64" bits and DB2 code release "SQL11019" with level identifier "020A010F".
Informational tokens are "DB2 v11.1.9.0", "special_39283",
"DYN1907150900PPCLE_39283", and Fix Pack "0".
Product is installed at "/opt/ibm/db2/V11.1.0.0"

The diaglog shows minimal information, just 2 entries.
