Add an Option to not use sql alias in column_name

We have many jobs and projects reading an Oracle database table and use alias to map the column name in table into a new name (for new name in target table, or join with another data sets). When viewing in IGC the data lineage, there is a break (see attached file). When loading this source table with a project A , we get TableA / column list = A.xxx, A.yyy, A.zzz... When reading the table A with second project B, IGC appears Table A with column list = alias1, alias2, alias3 ... No lineage between the 2 projects, even if the same table A in the same database with same columns is involved.

    We are continuing to explore and investigate, however currently there is no planned fix.

    Hi Marc, we have encountered same error within our environment and use of Alias in SQL. Please let us know if this is being fixed. We are on 11.5 FP2 SP 6.

    Thanks for your comment, i will ask engineering to investigate, however there exists an ability to define an identity relationship between Scema / Table / Column. Have you attempted to set such a relationship, within the administration / manage lineage section. Alternately you can define a mapping (Extension Mapping Document) between the two.
