We're planning to support this 2H 2021. The reason why it's a year out is that we're spending the next 6 months building out a completely new data lineage service, which will take some time to get right before we can build more enhancements. I hope your clients can understand, and we'd like for any of them to join our sponsor user program to provide direct feedback to our Design team as we build out the experience.

At the moment, we do not support this capability, but we will be introducing a better querying tool, so I'll add this use case to requirements for that.

Ok, I think I understand what you're asking for. Today, you need to go to each asset to generate a lineage report, which might mean that you create 81 reports if there are 81 fields. In the future, you want to be able to aggregate those. Does that sound correct?

Sorry for my lat e reply.
It will be more easier to have one single report containing all the terms we are interested on. If for example there is an authority that needs to check and sign the lineage report, than only one signature will be enough instead of 10-20...For example for one of Bank initiatives ( KYC) we are interested on 81 fields and check the lineage for all of them. Once the lineage is generated for a term we need to save the report and sent it for checking and sign off to other entities...we need to do this process 81 times, instead being able to save a report with all 81 fields. Let me know if you need more details.

What exactly are you looking to improve upon the existing experience? What about the existing experience is not what you need? What are you trying to accomplish? I'd like to get more details to add to the epic that I just created in our backlog for data lineage. Also, this functionality would be found in Watson Knowledge Catalog rather than IGC since that's where we're building all new functionality. We are working on a new data lineage experience right now and plan to release that next year.

Thanks for the idea. As we evolve our Lineage designs and next generation Lineage Viewer we are exploring how to satisfy the requirement to save and share Lineage Reports off-line, or store such Reports for future audit. This would include the situation above, for a single Report across multiple Assets.
