IGC New Welcome Page Customization

Use a real-life scenario to explain the problem statement/pain points, state your current workaround(s), state any proposed solution(s), state the benefits/value this idea has, state # of users impacted and how often are they impacted

In IGC Classic, the welcome text is displayed on the home page after users log in. Administrators can enter a maximum of 500 characters for the welcome text. The header is also displayed in the banner of the home page after users log in. Administrators can enter a maximum of 55 characters for the header. The Canada Revenue Agency currently has an internal name for the IGC that is displayed on the header of the home page. We also have links that allow users to contact us, find training/ tips and tricks documentation and refer to data management policies displayed as the welcome text.

    Branding is very important to our organization. The minimal branding offered by old catalog was a little helpful. By having no capabilities on new catalog, we will not be able to use and we'll be stuck. Thanks for considering. We are running IGC on-prem and have no near-term plan to migrate to Cloud offerings.

    Hi Gusmane, we will not be making further feature enhancements to IGC. New features and requirements will be addressed in Watson Knowledge Catalog.
