DataStage S3 connector to have the ability to ingest fixed width files

At present the AWS S3 connector in DataStage is only able to import de-limited files. In order to ingest fixed width files a workaround has to be used to extract the data from S3 and place it on a file system first so that DataStage can import it.

We have been working with our client Virgin Money and Paul Raffo (SWG Services) on this and the developer advised that we should raise an RFE. Our client needs to read a lot of fixed width files from S3 for their current transformation programme so being able to do this will make things much easier for them.

Fixed width files can be files that have no field delim or/and record delim. Thanks
