ETL Datastage - Lower number of connections open toward databases during a job execution

When executing a Datastage job, connections which are open toward the databases (Sybase in our case) are open during the complete execution time of a job even if all "actions" are done. This should be changed (to lower the activity on database side by removing useless connections).

    Can you please provide additional details on the connector you are considering for this request.

    Thank you for submitting this idea. After a quick analysis, we would need additional information from you.

    Indeed, we do establish connections from Conductor node and those can be closed (and some connectors already do that). However, for any of the connections opened from the Players, it would not be possible.

    Can you please confirm if your request is about Sybase operator or do you use a different connector?
