Support for Custom URL within File connector HDFS

We need to import data files and folders as well as the file structure to IGC from Atlas HDFS, which is not possible when using Custom url.

    For Parquet, this is a limitation in the Parquet API itself - we can reconsider this if this restriction is lifted.

    Hi,

    Yes, using the File connector HDFS in IMAM resulting in errors.

    IBM Engineering team has confirmed that there is no support for importing Parquet files (and folders) and file structure due to third party API limitations, that prevents IBM from providing the functionality.

    Thank you for submitting this idea. We do have support for custom URL within the File Connector in DataStage:

    Can you clarify what capability you are looking for that doesn't exist? i.e. Are you trying to use the Connector from the context of IMAM/IGC? Is there a particular feature of the Connector that you are finding is not working when using the custom url? etc
