DataStage - GIT Integration for DevOps - Collaboration of CI/CD process

In DFD tool, we can push the changes to GIT repository. General case is, Developer 1 is working on a making changes to Data Stage job and it is under UAT in PRE Production server. Developer 2 is working on the same job for Enhancement work. It is Test environment. Developer 3 is working on the same job for new project. It is in Dev environment.

We are unable to merge the changes of Developer 1 & Developer 2 when we need to collaborate the work to move to higher environments.

common scenario we see every day in our development life cycle. Our challenges are when Developer 1, 2, 3 all in PRE prod. But Developer 1 work only approved and ready to move to production but Developer 1 and 3 work is not approved. It is difficult to revoke the changes and move the code of Developer 2 to production.

    Thanks for submitting this idea. We've partnered with MettleCI to enhance the way we think about DevOps and DataStage. We agree with Data Migrators that a trunk based development model works better for assets like DataStage jobs where merging isn't practical. I'd encourage you to check out this approach here:
