Thanks Udo for taking the time to provide more details on your experience.
We will review the feasibility of modifying the above mentioned connectors, and update the RFE request accordingly soon.
Best regards,
Virginie
Hi Virginie,
from my point of view the Connectoren for ODBC, JDBC and DB2 (should already be done for PDA to DB2 migration) should be enhanced.
This Enhancement Request is a more general change or harmonisation for the connector framework that will help to build generic job designs. Currently it is not possible to set the Key Columns of a connector in a generic job due to that the "key column" are design metadata that could not be set at runtime.
Regards,
Udo
Can you please provide a list of connectors you would like to be improved with this feature?
Without more details unfortunately, we won't be able to consider this enhancement request.
Best regards,
Thank you for submitting this idea.
We would need more details on the connector you would like to see improved. We cannot modify all the connectors at once, and would need to prioritize them one after the other. Please let us know the top priority connectors that you see as requiring this enhancement, based on your experience with Datastage.
Thanks again,
Virginie
