Connection Pooling for DataStage

We wish us that DataStage has the possibility to use a connection pool.

We have thousands of connects and disconnects in Db2 that stresses out LDAP and use a lot of resources in Db2. It also costs a lot of unnecessary time.

    Hello,

    the problem is, that DataStage uses a Db2 client.

    For each communication with Db2 we have a connect and a disconnect.

    We would need more details on the connector you're expected to be enhanced?

    Is it DB2 native Connector or ODBC / JDBC Generic Connectors connecting to DB2 using the drivers
