Data Stage Integration/Connectivity with Infor (https://www.infor.com/) source

Hello,


Problem Statement:

Recently we came to know from IBM Support that Data Stage can't connect to Infor using jdbc connector stage. I am submitting this new idea based on IBM rep's recommendation. Please see IBM case# TS008021248.


Benefits/Value:

Infor is UNC Health' enterprise HR system and we want to extract HR Data into data warehouse using Data Stage to do valuable analytics. The reports generated using Infor data is extremely valuable in making decisions related to patient safety/revenues/staff planning/staff retention/critical staff recruitment.


Work around:

Currently we are using other tools to extract data from infor and write the data to flat files and from flat files we are loading data into data warehouse. This entire process is tedious as working with files is not straight forward and often leads to data quality issues. Also, the tool we are using to extract data from infor is causing issues from support perspective.


Number of users impacted:

1000's of users are impacted
