Have to flip back and forth between Flow Designer and the Desktop Client

We are wondering if there is a patch already for this or if we can request an enhancement for something we see when using Flow Designer. Because we are building jobs in flow designer and using the Hierarchical stage, which can only be used in Flow Designer, we find ourselves flipping back and forth between Flow Designer and the Desktop Client. Currently in Designer if you open a job that’s in read only mode; for one you get a clear message that you have to acknowledge by clicking a button to proceed, that you cannot make changes to the job. Secondly you cannot edit the job whatsoever in anyway. However, in Flow Designer when opening a job there is only a small message at the top that you are in read only mode that can and has been easily missed. In addition FD allows you to make changes to the job which it really shouldn’t do. Only when you can’t save the job do you realize you are in read only mode. Yes, it’s a user error but as with Designer we’d expect more safe guards to be in place. We’ve wasted hours developing stuff that we have to redo.
