different behavior with Snowflake & Oracle connector for the Column name

In source connector, SQL column names are having name, which is different in stage columns list (like APPLICATION_NUMBER as APPL_NUM in column tab list). In Oracle connector, though the names are different in SQL and columns list, it will internally match as alias and executes fine. But, in Snowflake it’s failing with error as “Name mentioned in columns table is not matching/reference in the source query.”

As we are migrating all the Oracle landscape to Snowflake now and repurposed the DataStage jobs just converting the oracle connectors with Snowflake. Due to this difference in behavior, we have to put more manual effort to make the Source SQL column names matching with names inside columns table in connector.

We want to IBM create similar feature for snowflake connector stage.
