Performing an update of InfoSphere Information Server fix corrupts Datastage projects

"At Banco Popular client, the fix pack for IBM InfoSphere Information Server Version 11.7 had to be installed. However, during the installation, a backup was created, which takes the client 3 days. During the case response period, it was found that after the installation of the fix pack SP1 for InfoSphere V11.7, it corrupted the projects. This lack of transparency in the fix process affects the client's workflow. It should be ensured that all fixes are transparent and cannot damage projects. In this case, 250 projects with 22,000 jobs were affected, causing time and cost implications for the client.
