Add Partition read to BigIntegrate ODBC stage

When reading from HIVE tables using ODBC stage, we should be able to read from multiple partitions at the same time. For ex: if the HIVE table has more than 1 data file (has 5 different part files), then when reading data from this HIVE table using ODBC stage, we should be able to see 5 threads (in job monitor) or connections reading parallel from all the five files. (Similar to how we have “multiple readers per node in a normal sequential file stage).

Thank you for submitting this enhancement request.

We have a dedicated Hive connector that supports the above use case.

Our recommendation is to use this connector in place of the ODBC one (which should be used for datasources that don't have a dedicated connector).

You can find more details on how to configure the Hive connector for partitioned reads here

    https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSZJPZ_11.7.0/com.ibm.swg.im.iis.conn.hive.usage.doc/topics/config_parallel_read.html

Let us know if you see any issue with that approach.

Thanks again for your feedback that helps us improve our products.
