Compatibility of DFD with reverse proxies such as NGINX

Currently we have noticed that DFD is not compatible with reverse proxies like NGINX. With PMRs such as TS003975441, we have noticed that the way DFD works when IIS is used with NGINX is like this :

NGINX URL: https://myNginxURL/ibm/iis/launchpad

This NGINX URL will forward all requests to the host where IIS services tier is installed.

When the request reaches the Services tier, it forwards it towards the engine tier where DFD is installed. When DFD wants to send the request/response back to services tier, instead of using the hostname of the services tier, it tries to use NGINX URL that was used within the user's browser (myNginxURL:9445) to make this connection. Because NGINX does not listen to on port 9445 the request just hangs which causes extreme slowness within the DFD client

Thank you for this idea. We will fully address this on Cloud Pak for Data, but do not plan to address this within DFD.
