SpSS modeler Cognos node multiline text in a single cell
A customer of ours uses a Cognos node in SPSS Modeler 18 to access data in Cognos 10. The returned data contains carriage returns/Line Feed character. This results in Cognos that the text being shown as multiline. Getting this data into SPSS modeler by using a Cognos node results in a new table row after each carriage return. This causes the data to broken up in different records. What is needed is an option that would automatically strip the Carriage return/Linefeed Character or would ignore them when they are in a text between ""(or similar). At least one would expect that a Cognos node shows the data similar to Cognos
