Bulkedit width problems for columns of INTEGER types and frozen view hardcoded value

1. There is a bulkedit screen widget customized by IBM $ccd_war_path/js/dojo_extensions/ibm/ccd/multiedit/newMultiEditWidget.js:2119
Here we see, that for SEQUENCE (and INTEGER as well) there are calculated a base width=100px.
Real column width is wider because the way it marked up in html code – first two columns (pk and status) are a table [pic_1.jpg].

This table columns has base widths 100px (sequence, primary key) and 50px (status). With table layout each base width adds a padding|border widths and if overall columns width is lesser than table width, the columns width is recalculated by browser. Here we see that pk column has a 151px width and the rest is for status column [pic_2.jpg].

We are know that there are a maximum limit for signed integer type (2^31 – 1)=10 symbols. And it is really weird why for 10 symbols there reserved a 100px base width. There is really 40px will be enough. . I changed a base width of pk column for test and changed sequence (integer) value to 10-sym digit [pic_3.jpg].

But there is a new problem – frozen view (it is a pk+status columns) width is fixed
newMultiEditWidget.js:1857 var frozenViewWidth = 235;

My thoughts is that there are 2 problems that affects user experience and should be enhanced:
1. SEQUENCE/INTEGER field types have enormous base width = 100px, but it will be enough 40px for them.
2. Frozen view width is fixed, but it should be calculated, based on pk-type width and status width (and a collab-status width in colarea bulkedit).

    New Business UI offers you flexibility to adjust the column width and order, and those settings are saved across sessions for each individual user.
